Main House at West Park Gardens

The house was basically good and very clean. However, it's not very Senior friendly, such as low sitting toilet in upstairs en-suite, slippery tub and no grab bars in upstairs hallway bathroom, and no treads or carpeting on stairs. Also it appears there is mold on the ceiling in the hallway bathroom, while there is badly peeling paint in the en-suite. There is too much clutter in the house with dried flower bouquets all over the place that are mostly brown so it adds a sadness to the place. One of our biggest disappointments was the lack of a cozy seating area in the main house. There was no comfortable place where all six of us could gather to chat, have a drink, or just hang out. Maybe the pool table could be moved into the game room? The guest house out back seemed to be in better condition overall, but the futon on the lower level was without a frame, and was not comfortable for sleeping on the floor. Overall, the furniture in the main house wasn't very comfortable and the place is looking tired. I presume the arrival of a dumpster while we were there and the fact the property seems to be unavailable now means the owner is probably doing some fixing up. Stephen was great though and I look forward to seeing what improvements he makes.

We were in this home for a graduation and were surprised to see the cottage detached and just as lovely as the rest of the house. The backyard area is very serene, the house has everything anyone needed. Very lovely home, easy to get to and the communication was on point! Can’t wait to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Family and friends stayed at Culpeper for my daughter's wedding. The house is warm, friendly and very inviting. Highly recommended! spacious. and Thank you!
